- Founded as Korea's only institution of higher education focusing in foreign languages on April 20, 1954
- Campuses : Seoul campus, Yongin campus, and Songdo campus(planned)
- College: 34 departments (divisions) and ten colleges in the Seoul campus 42 departments (divisions) and
' seven colleges in the Yongin campus
- Graduate school: Eight graduate schools (General graduate schools, special graduate schools, and
specialized graduate schools)
